PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: From now on it is mandatory for the beneficiary farmers of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to get e-KYC, Aadhaar seeding and land seeding done to get a grant-in-aid of Rs 6,000. In the absence of verification, already lakhs of farmers’ money is not reaching their bank accounts. Instructions are being issued by the state governments to complete the verification process by issuing notifications continuously. Recently, Bihar and Haryana government had also issued strict instructions to get e-KYC done. Now the Rajasthan government has also clearly asked the beneficiary farmers of PM Kisan Yojana to get e-KYC done by February 10, 2023.

According to media reports, Cooperative Registrar Meghraj Singh Ratanu in Rajasthan told that it is mandatory for the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to link e-KYC, bank account with Aadhaar to get the benefit of the upcoming 13th installment. Only after the fulfillment of these conditions, Rs 2,000 of the 13th installment will be transferred to the account.
Verification of 24.45 lakh farmers not done
Data released by the Rajasthan government has shown that by January 2023 only 67% e-KYC and 88% bank accounts have been linked to Aadhaar. Still e-KYC of 24.45 lakh farmers and Aadhaar seeding of bank account of 1.94 lakh farmers have not been done, which needs to be settled before 13th instalment.
For information, let us tell you that India Post Payment Bank has been given permission to open e-KYC and Aadhaar linked bank accounts in Rajasthan. If the farmer wishes, he can also get the process of e-KYC completed by visiting his nearest e-Mitra center or public service center.
